Calvin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Law degree from the National University of Ireland Galway. He qualified as a solicitor in Ireland in 2010, as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2017 and was admitted to the Roll of Legal Practitioners in the BVI in that same year. Calvin worked in the legal department of one of Ireland’s largest banks for seven years before moving to the BVI in 2017.
Prior to joining BGA, Calvin worked in both the corporate and funds departments of two top ten offshore law firms. He has extensive experience with a broad range of offshore structures and various types of funds from establishment right the way through to winding-up. His areas of practise include corporate governance and compliance, mergers and migrations, funds, succession planning including the establishment of trusts, the drafting of wills and applications for probate.
